Hundreds attend Priti’s Advice and Information Fair
Hundreds of local residents turned up at the advice and information fair hosted and organised by Witham MP Priti Patel. Forty organisations, groups and clubs were present at the fair to meet residents, provide information and advice, and sign up new members and volunteers. Funds were also raised for the Witham branch of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal as donations were given for teas, coffees and a selection of cakes baked by Priti. Speaking after the fair Priti said:
“Witham is a thriving local community and there are so many fantastic clubs, groups and organisations in our area providing services and activities. It was great to meet so many people at the fair and to see residents able to access information and advice.”
“The fair has brought the local community together and I am pleased to see that residents attending have been able to join local clubs and groups. I am also very grateful to everyone who supported the event and to those organisations who came along.”
