Witham MP, Priti Patel, is delighted to announce that Jasmine Fenwick, aged 8, from St. Andrew’s Junior School in Hatfield Peverel is the winner of her 2018 Witham Constituency Christmas Card Competition. Many local schools participated in this year’s competition and Priti would like to thank all schools that joined the competition.

Priti will present Jasmine with the Christmas card that features her design at her school before the end of term. Additionally, Priti will visit the competition’s runners-up at their schools to thank and congratulate them for their card designs. The designs of the runners-up will also be showcased on the back of her Christmas card. Priti has also sent every child who participated in the competition a certificate to express her gratitude for their wonderful designs.

Priti said:

“I am very impressed with the outstanding quality of the designs submitted, which made this year’s competition an even greater pleasure and challenge to judge. Once again, pupils across the Witham constituency have demonstrated their hard work and creativity, and they should all be very proud of the artwork they submitted.

“Many congratulations to Jasmine for her winning design which will look wonderful on my Christmas card this year. I would also like to congratulate all the runners-up and thank all the pupils who participated this year.  I wish them, their parents and school staff my very best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.”
