Local MP, Priti Patel, has called in to GKs Graphics at Perry Way, Witham to meet proprietor Clare Scammell and to formally declare the business open. GKs Graphics is an offshoot of parent company GK Motor Factors and now has its own premises, which Priti visited on Friday 7th October

GKs Graphics provides a full graphic design service including window stickers, full commercial sign writing, shopfronts, site boards, banners and custom clothing. The company has its own print room and fitting bay. Clare Scammell, who runs the company, gave Priti a tour of the premises and outlined her plans for the development of the business.

After her visit, Priti said: “It was a pleasure to meet Clare and see the effort she is clearly putting into her new business, which is already growing. I am always pleased when a new business starts up in my constituency and I was very happy to be able to support GKs Graphics today, with an opening ceremony and some publicity. They offer a very useful service and I hope that local people and businesses will get behind them.”

Clare Scammell, proprietor of GKs Graphics, said: “Priti’s support is greatly appreciated and it was very good of her to take time out to visit and see the work I am doing to build up the business. It was also useful to be able to discuss my plans for the future with her.”

The visit was arranged in co-operation with Witham Chamber of Commerce.
