Priti cuts the ribbon and open’s new Indian restaurant in Kelvedon

Witham MP Priti Patel was honoured to open a brand-new state of the art Indian restaurant called Maria’s Indian Dining in the former George and Dragon on Monday 1st May. Priti was once again, invited by owner’s Abdul Shalim and Abdul Muhith. The new establishment is offering the most exquisite and finest Indian cuisine along the Coggeshall Road in Kelvedon to local customers in the area.

Priti, who cut the ribbon at the grand opening said: “It was wonderful to open Maria’s Indian Dining at the former George and the Dragon pub. I am extremely pleased that this local landmark will get a new lease of life and residents will be able to enjoy some more excellent cuisine on their doorstep. I want to thank Abdul for inviting me to open his new venture and I wish him, his family and team every success for the future. I would encourage everyone to pop down and try this great dining experience.”
