Priti Patel, MP for Witham, visited Elm Hall Primary School on Friday morning to speak with Year 4 pupils about Parliament and her role as an MP [11 January 2019].

This half term, Year 4 pupils at Elm Hall Primary School are learning about what it takes to be a good citizen and how laws are made in the UK. They had the opportunity to question Priti on her role as an MP, Parliamentary processes and Priti’s work in the local community.

Following her visit, Priti said:

“It was a pleasure to speak with pupils at Elm Hall Primary School about my role as an MP representing the Witham constituency. It is great to see pupils at a young age enthusiastic about Parliament and how laws are made. They were all engaged with the discussion and asked thoughtful questions.”
