Priti visits EBM Managed Services’ new premises
Witham’s MP, Priti Patel has visited the new home of local company EBM Managed Services. The company has had premises in Witham since 2005 and has continued to develop and expand, having already moved in 2016 to new premises, they have once again expanded to even larger premises in Crittall Road, Witham.
Priti went along to see the new premises on Friday 13th January and was given a guided tour by Michael Bailey, Group Chairman and Managing Director Mark Bailey. Priti also held a meeting with them to discuss issues affecting their business, including recruitment issues, recent increases in insurance costs and the escalating cost of power.
Commenting after her visit, Priti said: “EBM is a fantastic family run business and local success story. I am delighted to see how years of hard work and investment by EBM has resulted in their business growth and expansion. It was important to hear about the issues affecting their business and its future and I will be following up on the matters raised with Government. I am very proud of our local businesses who create jobs and invest in our local community. I wish EBM well in their new home, as they continue to grow and support local jobs and growth.”
Michael Bailey, Group Chairman said: “It was a pleasure to see Priti again and to give her the tour. We greatly appreciated her taking the time to visit our new premises. We also welcomed the opportunity to sit down with her and have a chat about some of the challenges we now face in continuing to develop our business. Priti is from a business background and understands our situation.”
