Priti Patel MP visits Stanway housing development

The Witham MP, Priti Patel has paid a visit to the Furly Meadows housing estate, currently being built in Stanway, on the edge of her constituency. The Cala Homes development is providing a mix of housing opportunities including affordable homes.

Ms Patel was given a thorough briefing about the site by Duncan Jackson, the Cala Homes Managing Director (Northern Home Counties) and shown a scale model of the completed estate before donning protective equipment for a tour.

Commenting after the visit, Priti said: “My thanks to Duncan Jackson and his team for a very interesting and informative tour. Many parts of my constituency are under development and Stanway is particularly busy. It’s my job to keep up with what is going on as the people who are moving in to these new homes will be my constituents.”
