Priti visits new innovative care hub
Recently, Witham MP Priti Patel visited the Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board where she joined the team in their new unscheduled care hub. The hub is made up of a team of clinicians, who direct health support and professionals to patients, avoiding unnecessary ambulance dispatch and emergency visits to hospital.
Priti said: “I was delighted to meet the teams involved and hear how they are delivering excellent care and support to those in need. Their innovative work allows emergency services to work more closely together to support patients and reduce hospital backlogs.”
