Priti Patel MP has visited Farleigh Hospice to meet staff and families using the Hospice. The Chelmsford-based Hospice provides end of life and bereavement care and support to patients and families and has a shop in Witham Town centre. Priti is a longstanding supporter of the Hospice and has been campaigning for reforms to society lotteries to help raise more funds. Priti said:

“Farleigh Hospice provides a comforting and supportive environment for people going through challenging circumstances. The end of life care and bereavement support they give is inspiring and the staff at the Hospice provide great care to patients and families.”

“I want to see facilities like Farleigh Hospice thrive and be able to do more to fundraise to generate income. We need to see reforms to the regulations on society lotteries to help hospices and other good local causes be able to receive more funding to invest in the services they provide.”
