The MP for Witham, which includes Tiptree, Priti Patel, was back in the Village on Friday (24th June 2022) to officiate at the formal opening ceremony of the Feathers Hair Salon at 68c Church Road, alongside Feathers partner and owner, Kerry Bush and Salon Manager Jade Pain. The new facility is part of the Feathers Salon Group.

The Salon, which specialises in creating hair styles that make their customers look good every day not just on the day of their visit, is one of four in north Essex in the Feathers Salon Group, which celebrated thirty years in the hairdressing business, in 2019.

Commenting after her visit, Priti said: “It was a great pleasure to be able to visit this new business and declare it formally open. It is a very modern, spacious and welcoming Salon. I am always pleased to see new businesses starting up in my constituency and to see them thriving. Meeting Kerry and her colleague Jade was very useful. I enjoyed hearing about their plans for the business and I will be monitoring their progress in the coming years.”

Kerry Bush, Partner at the Feathers Hair Salon said: “We really enjoyed Priti’s visit and chatting to her about our plans. We are very grateful that she took time out of her busy schedule to give our new Salon a good send off.”
