Witham’s MP, Priti Patel, during a busy day in the constituency on Friday (25th June), took time out to visit Flamin’ Moe’s Restaurant at 68 Newland Street, Witham to perform a special ribbon cutting opening ceremony. Priti officiated at the opening of sister business Gelato Temptations in 2019, which shares the building with Flaming Moe’s.

The new restaurant features a menu containing Peri Peri Steaks, burgers and seafood. Priti spent a few minutes with proprietor, Mohammad Saleem, talking about his new venture and the facilities it has to offer.

Commenting after her visit, Priti said: “I’m very pleased to see that Mohammad is expanding his business and has used the long lock down periods to develop a new string to his bow. It seems like an excellent combination of businesses to me. You can have your main meal in Flamin’ Moe’s and then move upstairs to Gelato Temptations for dessert! I wish him well with his new venture and I will be following his progress with great interest.”

Mohammad Saleem said: “It was great to see Priti again and to have her open our new venture. It seemed only fitting as she opened Gelato Temptations for us. Her continued support is very much appreciated.”
