Priti pays her respects to war dead
Earlier this month Ms Patel was honoured to pay her respects Witham and Tollesbury’s fallen service men and women. The MP for Witham marched alongside veterans, community groups and residents in parades in Tollesbury village and in Witham Town Centre. Priti was joined by hundreds of people who turned out to pay their respects to our fallen and current service men and women.
Priti said: “I was honoured to join our local communities in Tollesbury and Witham to remember our fallen servicemen and women. We remembered those who have died for our country in war and defended our freedoms. People from across our community came together, paid their respects and watched the parades to thank all who have served our nation.
I would like to thank the Royal British Legion, and every organisation who took part in these commemorative services including Essex police for keeping everyone safe.”
