Priti is proud to support farmers, producers and rural communities in Essex. She’s working with the police to tackle rural crime, campaigning to safeguard agricultural land and promoting more sales and exports of local produce.
Priti has been campaigning against the National Grid’s plans for over 100 miles of new pylons and overhead power lines in East Anglia and calling for the development of an offshore grid as an alternative.
Priti is opposing the use of accomodation at the former air force base at Wethersfield by the Home Office for asylum seekers. The rural site, located in the Braintree district, is being used to accommodate hundreds of asylum seekers who have entered the UK illegally while their claims are processed. …
